HCA Florida UCF Lake Nona Hospital in Orlando seeks a Post-Partum RN to provide direct patient care to postpartum patients and newborns in a family-centered setting. You will monitor progress, support discharge prep, and collaborate with a dedicated care team to deliver safe, high-quality obstetric care.

You will work with a collaborative team that supports learning and professional growth, with a focus on patient-centered outcomes and compassionate care for families during their stay.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• 1+ years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred.
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, BSN is preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start
• American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Post-Partum RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct patient care to post-partum patients in a family centered approach. You will provide multidisciplinary obstetrical care to low and high risk postpartum patients and normal newborns. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
