Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Mother Baby unit in New Brunswick, NJ. Responsibilities include postpartum nursing, newborn monitoring, medication administration, and patient education. The role requires collaboration with obstetricians and pediatricians to ensure holistic care during hospital stay.

Candidates should have an ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS/NRP, and EMR proficiency. Shifts include day and night, with full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

Formación

• Active RN license (unencumbered).
• 1+ year experience in mother‑baby, postpartum, or labor & delivery preferred.
• BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and newborn vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Educate and support new mothers on infant care, breastfeeding, and self-care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other care team members for coordinated care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ year experience in a mother‑baby, postpartum, or labor and delivery setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathetic patient and family‑centered care
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the postpartum period, monitoring both patients for signs of complications
• Administer medications as prescribed and perform routine assessments of both maternal and newborn vital signs
• Provide emotional support and education to new mothers, focusing on: safe, effective infant care, breastfeeding, and self‑care post‑delivery, while empowering them to care for themselves and their newborns
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and holistic care during and after hospital stay
• Accurately document maternal and newborn assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with hospital policies and procedures

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
