Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Mother Baby unit in Humble, TX. The role supports postpartum mothers and newborns, with responsibilities spanning monitoring, medication administration, education, and collaboration with OB/peds teams to ensure full-spectrum care.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher, RN licensure, and EMR proficiency, with 1+ year in mother-baby/postpartum settings preferred; BLS/NRP certifications are required.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ year experience in mother-baby/postpartum/labor and delivery preferred.
• BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills with patient and family-centered care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the postpartum period and monitor for complications.
• Administer medications as prescribed and perform routine maternal/newborn vital signs assessments.
• Provide emotional support and education on infant care, breastfeeding, and self-care post-delivery.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers for coordinated care during and after hospital stay.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes per hospital policies.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Assist in c-sections, Delivery, Fetal NST, Midwife, Nursery care, or On-call availability.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ year experience in a mother-baby, postpartum, or labor and delivery setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathetic patient and family-centered care
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the postpartum period, monitoring both patients for signs of complications
• Administer medications as prescribed and perform routine assessments of both maternal and newborn vital signs
• Provide emotional support and education to new mothers, focusing on: safe, effective infant care, breastfeeding, and self-care post-delivery, while empowering them to care for themselves and their newborns
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and holistic care during and after hospital stay
• Accurately document maternal and newborn assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with hospital policies and procedures
