Job summary

SoftPath Medical seeks a Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical Telemetry in Greensboro, NC. Shifts are three 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with every-other-week rotation and holiday coverage. The unit emphasizes telemetry monitoring for general medical-surgical patients.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of nursing experience, BLS certification, and pass an EKG onboarding exam. EPIC EHR familiarity is preferred and prior charge nurse experience is advantageous.

Shift Details

Work schedule consists of three twelve-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AMRotates on an every-other-week basisHolidays as neededMay require floating to various facilities

Experience and Certification Requirements

At least 2 years of nursing experience requiredOpen to nurses new to travel assignmentsBasic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatoryCompletion of an EKG exam during onboarding is required

Patient Population and Clinical Focus

The unit primarily cares for medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring.

Patient categories include:

• Observation patients
• Respiratory conditions
• General medical-surgical cases
• Palliative, end-of-life, and hospice care
• Psychiatric observation
• Diabetes management, including new diagnoses and complications
• Surgical patients and surgical observation

Additional Skills

Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records is preferredPrevious experience as a charge nurse is advantageous
