Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse for MedSurg/Telemetry in a hospital setting. Position Details

Contract guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments – guaranteed hours exclude any on-call time worked.

Shift Information

12-hour shifts, either 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Work schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday. Only one holiday off request will be approved.

Staffing and Scheduling

Winter staffing needs prioritize local candidates. No separation from the hospital system is required for travelers. Self-scheduling is used; however, the schedule is balanced by management, who typically assigns travelers to open shifts. Special scheduling requests will be considered when possible.

Requirements and Ratios

MedSurg or Telemetry float assignments.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a MedSurg Registered Nurse required.

Patient-to-nurse ratios:

• MedSurg: 5:1 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, 6:1 from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Telemetry: 4:1 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, 5:1 from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
