Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital's Medical Surgical Orthopedic Unit, a newly renovated 20-bed floor, supports an active elective orthopedic surgery program and cares for medical, surgical and orthopedic patients.

As an RN, you will provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality compassionate care using the nursing process. Schedule is 2 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7:30am with every other weekend and holiday rotation; a $4,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

The Medical Surgical Orthopedic Unit is a newly renovated, 20 bed unit. This unit supports an active elective orthopedic surgery program and is a great mix of Medical, Surgical and Orthopedic joint patients.
