Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 29-bed unit specializing in adult through geriatric orthopedic and medical-surgical care. The unit features telemetry and a dedicated physical therapy gym to provide therapy without leaving the unit.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including travel nursing, with BLS certification and Charge RN responsibilities as needed. Shifts are nights with every other weekend, and floating is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Charge RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM).
• Floating as needed.
• Charge RN shifts required as needed.
• Every other weekend (Sat/Sun).
• No on-call duties.

Unit Description

This is a 29-bed unit providing care for adult through geriatric orthopedic and medical-surgical patients. Telemetry monitoring is available. The unit includes a physical therapy gym, allowing patients to receive therapy without leaving the unit.

Patient Population

• High volume includes patients recovering from total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
• Moderate volume includes patients undergoing other surgical procedures, as well as medical patients admitted for inpatient care or 24-hour observation.
