This 16-bed unit specializes in solid tumor, hematology, and surgical oncology, with teamwork across disciplines to advance outcomes. Promotion paths include leadership roles and broader care settings.

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State license in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• RN education as listed (AA/BSN/Diploma/Master).

Responsibilities

• Assess/admit patients and coordinate care.
• Provide medication administration and treatments.
• Discuss care plans with patients and families.
• Perform rounding checks and ensure patient safety.
• Support Oncology unit services (Chemotherapy/biotherapy administration after certification).

Multiple Shifts: Days and Nights

Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36

License and Certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Education
