Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Group in Bannockburn, IL. This full-time role, with some travel, involves nursing care under the supervision of physicians, triage calls, test results, and care coordination using the Epic EMR.

The ideal candidate will hold an IL nursing license, ASN or BSN, BLS/CPR, and at least 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting. Competitive benefits and scheduling flexibilities are included.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision of Practice Manager and Physicians.
• Phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations and patient education.
• Review and respond to patient messages in NorthShore Connect.
• Chart in Epic EMR and maintain accurate records.

Hourly Pay Range: $33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse Medical Group


• Location: Bannockburn, IL


• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)


• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM


• Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

• Provide nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians


• Phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, conveying plans of care patient education/teaching


• Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients


• Chart in Epic, our electronic medical record

What you will need:

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required


• Education: Graduate of State-approved school of nursing; ASN minimum; BSN strongly preferred


• Certification: BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required


• Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required
