Endeavor Health, a fully integrated healthcare delivery system, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical Pulmonary Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. Day shifts, full-time (36 hours/week), with weekend rotation. You will assess patients, plan and coordinate care, and educate families while maintaining compliance with standards.

The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development within a Magnet-designated system.

Competenze

• Must have an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Position: Registered Nurse - Medical Pulmonary Unit - Days

Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL

Full Time, 36 hours/week

Hours: 7:00am-7:30pm, Every other weekend

Required Travel: No

What you will do:

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

What you will need:

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
