Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Group at Evanston Hospital. In this role you will provide patient-centered nursing care, coordinate with physicians and staff, and support care plans under the Practice Manager.

You will perform phone triage, review results, manage medication refills and prior authorizations, and document in Epic. The position offers full-time hours, the possibility of some travel, and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing licensure required.
• ASN minimum education; BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under direction of Practice Manager and Physicians.
• Phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, patient education/teaching.
• Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients.

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse Medical Group
• Location: Evanston Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
• Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do :

• Provide nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians
• Phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, conveying plans of care patient education/teaching
• Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients
• Chart in Epic, our electronic medical record

What you will need :

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: Graduate of State-approved school of nursing; ASN minimum; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
• Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required
