Job summary

Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in North Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse for our 36-bed Medical-Surgical Unit. You will deliver safe, compassionate care to a diverse patient population with varying acuity and care needs.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, medication administration, care coordination with the broader healthcare team, patient and family education, and discharge planning in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and treatments, and monitor patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, therapists, case management, and other team members to coordinate individualized patient care.
• Educate patients and families, assist with discharge planning, and promote a safe environment during stay.
