Job summary

BayCare Health System in Riverview, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg/Tele unit. The RN will provide patient care using nursing process and collaborate with the care team.

Requirements include Florida RN license and BLS, with at least 6 months acute care experience; an Associate Degree in Nursing is required. Shift hours 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, Shift 3, weekends every other.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (State of Florida).
• BLS certification required.
• At least 6 months RN acute care experience.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with inter-disciplinary care providers to develop and assist in the plan of care.
• Organizes and prioritizes the plan of care with patient, family, and care team.
• Identifies patients at risk and prepares the room environment.

Position Description: RN

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a surgical unit
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
