Job summary

Qualifications

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at unit level.
• 1–3 years of related nursing experience commonly expected.

Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates delivery of care in collaboration with physician and other staff.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding nursing care and observations.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Provides rounds to ensure continuity of care and supports other team members.
• Applies nursing process for planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Educates patients and families as part of teaching plans.
