Job summary

Oak Valley Hospital in California is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate high-quality patient care within a fast-paced ED. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while adhering to hospital policies and safety standards.

Candidates must hold a California RN license; a BSN is preferred, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS are required. ED experience, TNCC/MICN certifications, and favorable evaluations enhance candidacy.

Qualifications

• Current California RN License.
• One year of acute care experience as an RN is preferred.
• Graduate of an RN nursing program.
• A bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and 1 year of ED experience is preferred but not required.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• Current AHA PALS.
• Current TNCC, MICN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Emergency Department Manager and provide, delegate, and coordinate nursing care per hospital policies and procedures.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct and indirect patient care in the ED.
