Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical-Surgical General Surgical Department. You will provide comprehensive post-operative care for patients undergoing complex gastro-intestinal and abdominal surgeries, including plastics-related wound care, ostomy, drains and wound VAC management.

This full-time role operates 7a–7p with rotating weekends and holidays. The unit supports self-scheduling, strong nursing leadership, and is housed in a MAGNET facility with Level I

Responsibilities

• The General Surgical Nurse cares for a wide variety of post‑operative patients including complex GI and abdominal surgeries and plastics related wound care cases requiring ostomy, drain and wound VAC management.
