Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team with additional openings in the Emergency Department, ICU, and specialized care centers in Duncan, OK. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Oklahoma RN license or valid compact license required.
• BSN preferred for career growth and advancement.
• BLS certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in case management, care management, or utilization management.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care across Medical Surgical, ED, ICU, or specialty units.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize care.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and therapies per hospital policies and nursing standards.
• Document assessments and care plans in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Engage in discharge planning and utilization management to ensure appropriate care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care.

Skills

RN license (OK or compact)

BSN preferred

BLS Certification

NIH Stroke Scale Certification

EMR documentation proficiency

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
