Job summary

Incredible Health in Brighton, MA is actively hiring a Registered Nurse - Med Surg. The role requires an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and at least 1 year of med-surg experience, with BLS certification.

You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, coordinate with the care team, educate patients and families, and document care per hospital policies. Shifts include day, night, and mid; full-time, part-time, and per diem options are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active RN license without encumbrances.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in med-surg or similar.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Cardiac patients, Couplet care, EKG monitoring, Educator, Fundal massage, Healing, Neuro patients, Oncology patients, Orthopedic patients, Ostomy care, PCA pumps , Traction & cast care, Tube feeding management, or Wound & drain care.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and to facilitate discharge planning
• Educate patients and their families on chronic and acute disease management, medical conditions, and post-discharge care
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital and departmental policies

Salary: $75,000 to $150,000 /year
