Job summary

Incredible Health is actively hiring in Shenandoah, TX for a Registered Nurse - Med Surg. This role covers cardio, neuro, ortho and other specialties; shifts include day, night, and mid; full-time, part-time, and per diem options are available.

The nurse will provide comprehensive care, administer medications, monitor patients, collaborate with care teams, educate families, and document in the EMR. ADN+ with active RN license and BLS required; one year of medical-surgical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong clinical skills and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on chronic and acute disease management, post-discharge care.
• Document all aspects of patient care in EMR per hospital policy.
