Job summary

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit. The role supports patient care during 12-hour night shifts with 72-hour biweekly rotations and a sign-on bonus eligibility.

The RN provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, anchored in evidence-based practice. A strong focus on quality improvement and collaboration is expected daily.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in specialty desired.
• Ideally, minimum of three years practicing as an RN in a comparable setting.
• Possesses an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
• Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification may be required based on primary department.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care incorporating evidence-based practice.
• Continually improve quality of care by collecting and analyzing data.

The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care that incorporates evidence‑based practice. A key aspect of nursing is to continually improve the quality of care by collecting and analyzing data.

Experience / Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in specialty desired.
• Ideally, minimum of three years practicing as an RN in a comparable setting.
• Possesses an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
• Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification may be required based on primary department.
