Job summary

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. This position offers Full-Time or .9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) with varied shifts and every 3rd weekend/holiday.

We provide full benefits for part- and full-time status and invest in your growth and wellness. Qualified candidates will have an associate degree in nursing, ideally a BSN, and an active WI/MI RN license; BLS is required or obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications may be required depending on department.
• Minimum of three years practicing as an RN in a comparable setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Incorporate evidence-based practice to improve quality of nursing care.
• Collect and analyze data to drive quality improvements.

The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence-based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.

HOURS: Full-Time or .9 FTE, 72 hours every pay period. Varied shifts, every 3rd weekend/holiday

Experience/Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in specialty desired.
• Ideally, there is a minimum of three years practicing as an RN in comparative setting.
• Possesses an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
• Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. (See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Policy).
• Current Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification may be required based on primary department.
