Job summary

Aspirus Rhinelander Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the General Surgery Clinic team in Rhinelander, WI. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care across the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation phases, with emphasis on evidence-based practice.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in Wisconsin or Michigan, have a minimum of three years of RN experience in a related setting, and bring BLS (and ACLS/PALS/NRP where required) to the role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in specialty desired.
• Minimum of three years RN experience in comparable setting.
• Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification may be required depending on department.

Some travel to Howard Medical Center will be required.Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every pay period Varied shifts primarily Monday-Friday.

Registered Nurse A professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence-based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.

Experience/Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in specialty desired.
• Ideally, there is a minimum of three years practicing as an RN in comparative setting.
• Possesses an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
• Maintains specialty certification as per department scope of service.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. (See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Policy).
• Current Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification may be required based on primary department.
