Vitruvian Health in Dalton, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med/Surg to provide direct patient care using the nursing process. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, with potential for leadership responsibilities as requested.

Requirements include an RN license in Georgia (or eNLC), BLS CPR, and 1+ year in the specialty. Flexible schedule including weekends is required; full-time benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Georgia or multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR required; PALS and ACLS preferred.
• Level II – 1+ years experience in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients on a given unit using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Assumes Shift Leader responsibilities as requested and/or in preparation for advancement to Level II or III.
• Works with adult, geriatric, pediatric and adolescent patients on assigned units.
• Supports flexible scheduling including weekends; maintains safety and quality standards.
