Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse - Med Surg in the College Station, TX area. Shifts available: day and night, with full-time, part-time, and per diem options, in a Magnet-recognized academic medical center.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care, administering medications, monitoring vitals, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting discharge planning. Qualifications: ADN or higher, active RN license, 1 year med-surg experience, BLS, and EMR

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes per hospital policies.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Cardiac patients, Couplet care, EKG monitoring, Educator, Fundal massage, Healing, Neuro patients, Oncology patients, Orthopedic patients, Ostomy care, PCA pumps , Traction & cast care, Tube feeding management, or Wound & drain care.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (ADN) or above nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or similar setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with both acute and chronic medical conditions
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and to facilitate discharge planning
• Educate patients and their families on chronic and acute disease management, medical conditions, and post-discharge care
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital and departmental policies
