Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Eastern Correctional Institution in Westover, Maryland. The RN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of the DON and Nursing Supervisor.

This role requires Maryland RN license, CPR/BLS certification, TB screening documentation, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Prior nursing experience is not required. Available shift: PRN.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN license in Maryland.
• Must show/obtain TB PPD documentation.
• Must be appropriately certified in CPR/BLS.
• Prior nursing experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Eastern Correctional Institution located in Westover, Maryland.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications:

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Prior nursing experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
