Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Western Correctional Institution in Cumberland, Maryland. This day shift role focuses on holistic nursing care for incarcerated patients under the DON and Nursing Supervisor, within a multi-disciplinary team.

Requires MD RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and ability to obtain security clearance; Associate's degree required; prior nursing experience not required.

Qualifications

• Current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for TB screening.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Prior nursing experience not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Western Correctional Institution located in Cumberland, Maryland.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Prior nursing experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available shift: Full-time day: 36 hours per week
