Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health Westerly Hospital is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide individualized, goal-directed care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles under the nurse manager's guidance.

The role requires graduate-level nursing education, current RN licensure, and BLS certification. ACLS optional; PALS within one year of hire. Prior medical-surgical, pediatrics, or telemetry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS required; ACLS optional; PALS within one year of hire.
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, telemetry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's physical and psychological condition continuously and document data accurately.

• Act as a clinical resource and role model for staff.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

EXPERIENCE

Medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, telemetry experience preferred.

LICENSURE

Current state registration. BLS required ACLS (Optional) PALS within one year of hire
