Qualifications

  • Candidates actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program may be considered by Nursing Leadership & Human Resources. Degree must be completed within an reasonable time frame – normally 24-months.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care as required, covering Clinical Lead position as needed.
  • Review administrative reports, budgets, benchmarking graphs, and variance reports; act to meet productivity targets and control expenses.
  • Oversee budgets and capital for department; forecast future budgeting needs and participate in budget development.
  • Review department compensation, implement HR policies, recruitment, staff changes, and access to patient care systems.
  • Provide leadership and set expectations for roles & responsibilities for subordinates and Clinical Nurse Leaders.
  • Develop staff competencies and provide information for staff positions.
  • Provide performance coaching that may include improvement plans, corrective action and termination.

Job Summary

Anyone traveling more than 60 miles one way to Holy Cross is eligible for a travel stipend of $60 per day.

Position Summary

This position will support Carondelet St Raphael's Emergency Center and Carondelet St Jospeh's Emergency Department. Will Accountable for associate performance and provision of patient care within specific environment and shift. Monitor fiscal and budgetary operations and provide support for the vision and direction of specific areas. Responsible for ongoing interface and frequent communication with patients, customers, associates, and management. Effectively manage change, facilitate innovation, foster teambuilding.
