Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions seeks an RN Manager for the NICU in Houston. The role supports the Director, coordinates quality-improvement activities, and ensures care aligns with nursing processes and unit goals.

Qualified candidates have a BSN, 2+ years NICU leadership and 2+ years management or charge nurse experience, Texas RN license or compact with 60-day TX license transfer, and BLS certification. Full time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of NICU experience
• Recent acute care NICU leadership experience (Level 3 or 4)
• 2+ years of management or Charge Nurse experience
• Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact; must obtain Texas license within 60 days of hire
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assist Director to coordinate department activities in line with facility mission, vision and values
• Coordinate participation in Performance Improvement activities to ensure continuous quality improvement
• Ensure nursing care is based on nursing process and evaluated regularly
• Provide clinical support to the nursing staff
• Plan, implement and evaluate care for patients in Women's Services Units

RN MGR - NICU

Job Responsibilities

• You will assist the Director with all department activities to assure a coordinated effort in fulfilling department responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision, and values of the facility.
• You will assist in coordinating the departments participation in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.
• You will ensure that nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluates the effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
• You will provide clinical support to the nursing staff.?
• You will be responsible assisting, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients in the Womens Services Units.

Job Qualifications

• 2 plus years of experience in NICU required
• Recent (within the last year) acute care NICU leadership experience required - Level 3 or 4 required
• 2 plus years of management or Charge Nurse Experience required
• BSN required
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date)
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required
