Job summary

Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Main Operating Room team. This PRN role provides care to patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures and collaborates with physicians and hospital staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.

You will educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care, advocate for patients, participate in staff meetings, and coordinate care with ancillary services while upholding the hospital mission.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Associate of Science, Nursing holder.

Baptist Downtown is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Main OR Team in Jacksonville, FL.

This is a PRN position.

As a Registered Nurse for the Main OR, you will be responsible for:

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition.

• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement.

• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care.

• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital.

• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.

• Act as the patient advocate

• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.

Experience Requirements:

• 2-3 years Operating Room Circulating Nursing Experience Required

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required

• Licensed Registered Nurse Required

• Associate of Science, Nursing

This RN, Main OR position will be located at Baptist Downtown.
