Job summary
Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Main Operating Room on a PRN basis at the Downtown location. The RN will provide care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, educate families, and collaborate with physicians and hospital teams to coordinate perioperative care.
Requirements include 2–3 years of Operating Room Circulating Nursing experience, RN license, BLS and ACLS certification.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years Operating Room Circulating Nursing experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients requiring treatment of medical, surgical, or other conditions.
- Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
- Interact with physicians and other hospital departments.
- Coordinate care with ancillary services.
- Act as patient advocate and participate in unit activities.
