Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a registered nurse to join the ECC_LWR department. Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical setting, guided by our nursing practice model and ANA standards.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred within the required timeframe, Florida RN license, BLS, and ACLS preferred. Strong computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN may be required within a specified timeframe for new hires after 2012.
• Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
• Preferred: certification in nursing specialty area.
• BSN credential is noted as education requirement.

Required Qualifications

• Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
• Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer certification in nursing specialty area.
