Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Florida is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients and families in a General Surgical unit, guided by our nursing practice model and in accordance with ANA standards.

You will meet licensure and education requirements, including BSN preferred for new hires after 2012, and BLS/CPR certification; FL RN license; ACLS preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required for new hires after 2012 within timeframe per policy (126.045).
• Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
• Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer certification in nursing specialty area.

BSN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Required License and Certs

• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
• FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License
