Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during the shift per policy.
• Monitor residents and report changes to physician; document results accurately.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges as per procedures.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities and regulatory surveys.
