Job summary

Genesis is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses for part-time and full-time schedules in North Carolina. Available shifts include 7:00am–3:00pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm, and 11:00pm–7:00am with shift differentials of $3, $4, and $5.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program and licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions as needed to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are carried out.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
