Stella Maris Inc. is recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Towson, Maryland. We offer 12-hour shifts (7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a) with both part-time and full-time opportunities in a long-term care setting focused on resident-centered care.

Responsibilities include providing skilled nursing care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and documenting care in the electronic health record. Maryland RN licensure and CPR certification are required.

Formación

• Maryland RN licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior experience in long term care preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Implements the nursing process to identify residents/patients’ needs, using the interdisciplinary team approach to supply appropriate interventions.
• Monitors residents/patients’ physical/mental status on an ongoing basis, responding to clinical changes and emergency situations.
• Answer resident call lights, serving as a role model for all members of the care team.
• Maintain proper documentation in the patient health record to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Provide both physical and emotional support to patients by honoring the patient and family with compassion and care.
