Job Details:

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Johns Hopkins Hospital is a 28-bed unit providing comprehensive medical and surgical intensive care for children from birth to 21 years old. As Maryland’s only Level 1 pediatric trauma center and state-designated pediatric burn ICU, the PICU cares for children up to 15 years of age with complex diagnoses including respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, seizure disorders, multiorgan failure, shock, toxic ingestions, and neonatal and pediatric ECMO. Our surgical services encompass extensive general, cardiac, thoracic, orthopedic, and neurologic procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing required
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification required
  • RN work experience required; Pediatric critical care experience required; charge/preceptor experience strongly preferred

Salary Range:

Minimum 47.96/hour - Maximum 74.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur in the candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
