Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Laredo, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an experienced registered nurse to deliver safe, competent patient care in a 183-bed acute care setting. You will provide clinical leadership and support to the healthcare team, anchored in patient-centered care and Service Excellence.

The role requires an NLN-approved RN program graduate, current state license, and certifications (ACLS/PALS/NRP, BLS).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP (or obtained within six months of employment).
• BLS (or obtained during orientation).
• De-escalation training (CPI within six months).
• Current state nursing license.
• TNCC required (or obtain within 18 months).
• Prefer one-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Support the Patient Centered Care approach and uphold Service Excellence standards.
