Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy, offering professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP within six months of employment.
• BLS certification (or obtained during orientation).
• De-escalation training (CPI) within six months of employment.
• Current state nursing license.
• Prefer one-year FT or three years PT in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and standards.
• Offer professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Uphold Patient Centered Care as the foundation of nursing care.
