Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a registered nurse to provide skilled, culturally sensitive care within a multidisciplinary team in Ohio. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care following the hospital model and patient-centered care philosophy.

You will lead and participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and ongoing education for patients and families, while maintaining professional growth and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• RN must hold a current Ohio nursing license.
• BSN within 5 years of hire for most hires after Jan 2010.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact; ACLS within 6 months for step-down/ICU.
• Certification in area of clinical specialty expected within five years.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic assessments of physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and education needs.
• Identify abnormal data and report changes to physician and charge RN.
• Communicate plans of care using SBAR with the health care team.
• Initiate discharge planning and refer as appropriate.
• Provide ongoing education to patient and family.
• Demonstrate leadership, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.
