Qualifications
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 1 year
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 2 years
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 2 years
Responsibilities
- Organize and provide nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon licensure, preparation and job descriptions.
- Responds to emergency calls, assists ambulance team in performance of medical services and safe transportation of patients to medical facilities.
