Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in good standing
• Experience in acute care settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Establishes standards for level and quality of care for a group of patients
• Assesses patient needs and plans care with independent judgment and collaboration
• Leads and mentors nursing staff and students as appropriate
• Maintains relationships with physicians, other healthcare providers, patients and families
• Participates in unit governance and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensures safe work hours, time management and healthy lifestyle practices
