Job summary

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. The RN assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.

Licenses & Certifications: Georgia Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License; Healthcare Provider (CPR) or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or multistate license.
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider) or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED/ICU/Surgery/PACU/L&D/SSU if GI call.
• NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D.
• PALS within one year of hire in PACU.
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan patient care.
• Perform nursing care and supervise RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
