Job summary

Tanner-Health-1 is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care and supervise licensed and assistive staff in accordance with the state nurse practice act. The RN will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes to ensure quality, safe patient treatment.

Licensing requirements include a Georgia RN license or a multistate license, with CPR/HE Provider certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU.
• NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D.
• PALS within one year of hire in PACU.
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing functions and supervises RNs, LPNs and assistive personnel in nursing care.
• Assesses patient needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates care effectiveness.
