Job summary

Tanner Health seeks a Registered Nurse to perform nursing functions and supervise RNs, LPNs and assistive personnel in accordance with the state nurse practice act. The RN assesses patient needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates effectiveness of care provided.

Active Georgia RN license or multistate license is required, with CPR certification or obtained within 30 days. Additional certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, SCIPP) are expected within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license or multistate license required.
• CPR certification or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months for ED/ICU/Surgery/PACU/L&D/Cath Lab.
• NRP required within 1 year for Nursery & L&D.
• PALS required within 1 year in PACU.
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop plans of care.
• Implement nursing care and supervise RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel.
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing care and adjust plans as needed.

Education

Georgia Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License

Healthcare Provider CPR (or obtain within 30 days of hire)

ACLS within 6 months (ED/ICU/Surgery/PACU/L&D/Cath Lab)

NRP within 1 year (Nursery and L&D)

PALS within 1 year (PACU)

SCIPP within 90 days of hire (Willowbrooke)
