Job summary

Tanner-Health-1 seeks a Registered Nurse to perform nursing functions and supervise RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in accordance with the state nurse practice act. The RN assesses patient needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates outcomes to ensure quality care.

Licenses & Certifications include Georgia RN License or multistate license, and CPR is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications are required within specified timeframes for various departments.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if GI call.
• NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D
• PALS within one year of hire in PACU
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care.
• Implement nursing care and supervise RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care provided and adjust as needed.
