Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital – West Valley is seeking an RN to support the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure compassionate, evidence-based care.

You will perform nursing tasks such as IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, and patient education while maintaining meticulous records and utilizing IT tools to drive quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma with RN license.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred for advancement.
• Active RN license in the state of Utah.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual aspects.
• Develop and monitor patient care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic tasks including IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and use IT to support care decisions.
• Advocate for patient safety and collaborate with patients and families.
• Educate patients and families, assessing learning needs and effectiveness.
