A leading healthcare provider in Seattle is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse. The role requires high acuity experience and skills in electronic fetal monitoring. Candidates must be licensed in Washington and have a strong background in high-risk labor and delivery settings. The position involves day shifts with a focus on newborn care and may require floating to other units. Competitive pay and housing resources available.
This position is for experienced nurses with a minimum of 5 years of high acuity and high pace environment experience, particularly in high-risk labor and delivery settings. Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant experience and should not be first-time travelers.
Locals approved at travel rate are preferred. Please indicate your WA license status: Active, In Process, or No License. If 'In Process', provide the application date and ETA for license issuance.
Pre-approved time off will be considered case by case. The work schedule includes every other weekend and holidays as needed. Floating to postpartum/antepartum units and sister facilities supporting Mom/Baby services may be required.
Experience with EPIC electronic fetal monitoring is required. The role involves high risk/volume L&D, functioning as a Baby Nurse during delivery, and providing continued newborn care until transfer to postpartum. Circulating skills are mandatory, including administering Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate, and providing newborn assessments, eye and Vit K injections.

Shift details: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. Overtime and callback rates apply as specified. Observed holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, MLK Day, and Christmas, with specific pay considerations.
