Job Description: Labor and Delivery Nurse

Location: Seattle, WA

We are seeking experienced Labor and Delivery Nurses to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in high acuity and high pace environments, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. First-time travelers are not accepted.

Requirements include:

• Active, in-process, or no license with details provided on your profile
• Experience with EPIC electronic fetal monitoring
• High risk/High volume L&D experience, capable of working in fast-paced, high acuity settings
• Ability to function as a Baby Nurse during delivery, providing newborn care including eyes and Vit K injections, assessments, and assessments of thighs
• Circulating skills, including handling Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate

Additional details:

• Shift: Day 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
• Overtime and callback policies apply; see specifics in the original description
• Floating to postpartum/antepartum units and sister facilities as needed
• Support for diverse client types including Midwifery, OBs, Adult Recovery Services, and Community clinics

Holidays are observed with specific pay rates, and the facility operates under AWHONN guidelines. Candidates must be able to circulate and provide newborn care, and have experience with high risk medications and interventions.
