Requirements:

1. Minimum 2 years of experience on a labor and delivery unit; 3 years preferred, as the unit can be challenging for less experienced nurses.
2. Skills: Circulating, performing sterile vaginal exams, and competent in immediate newborn care.
3. Certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP.
4. The unit is very fast-paced, busier, and with higher acuity than typical units.
5. Due to the high activity level, taking 48-hour contracts may not be feasible.
6. Strongly prefer candidates with circulating experience in the OR.
